Why can SUS316L stainless steel thread be used as metal sewing thread?

Stainless steel sewing thread is made of  SUS316L stainless steel fiber. The diameter of metal fiber is usually 8um and 12um. Several stainless steel fiber bundles are twisted together to form stainless steel thread. Because the diameter of a single metal fiber is very thin, the metal fiber sewing thread becomes very flexible and can be used directly on the sewing machine.
